The school section which has classes from 6th to 10th, is affiliated to The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi. For the class 10th ICSE examinations, it is obligatory for the students to take up English, Kannada/Hindi/French, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies. There is a choice among Economic Applications, Computer Applications and Physical Education for one optional subject.
The school system is such that it monitors progress of the students on a day to day basis, and Special Remedial Classes are held after school hours for those who need extra help. Parents are made aware of their wards' performance after every test and examination through Progress Reports. With such an effective system in place, the school has been recording excellent results in ICSE over the years.
Each academic year is divided into two terms - the first from June to September followed by a month's vacation in October, while the second term begins in November and ends in April. At the end of the second term, the school closes for an eight-week long vacation.
