- The Green deeds and habits for sustainable environment campaign was launched by the Ministry of Environment forest and climate change under a 75 week long “Bharath Ka Amruth Mahotsava” to commemorate 75th year of Independence of our Nation.
- Aiming at environmental awareness among the society through eco clubs of the schools and colleges by following simple measures to make a visible difference to the environment.
- Shreyas Hosur(IAS) an alumnus of SRS inaugurated this historical event with pomp and show on 12th March 2021 at Sowparnika Auditorium, Sharada Reidential School, Udupi.
- The highlight of the event is “ Distribution of Saplings” to the students representatives.
